For this project in Estrie, we completed a full exterior restoration of a log home that also included a section of cedar shingles. The work included stripping the old finish, carefully sanding the surfaces, and applying a new stain. The goal was to give the property a more uniform appearance while protecting the different wood siding materials from outdoor conditions.

The property also featured a section covered with cedar shingles. Since logs and cedar do not react exactly the same way, we adapted the preparation and application process to achieve the most uniform result possible across the entire home.
Once the surfaces were ready, we applied a new stain to refresh the look of the wood and better protect it from moisture, UV rays, and temperature changes.
